The position will drive the sourcing, negotiation, and execution of new affordable housing opportunities while mentoring junior team members and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure successful outcomes.Additional responsibilities include:Lead the full lifecycle of affordable housing development projects, from opportunity sourcing and underwriting through financing, entitlements, closing, and construction coordinationSource, evaluate, and successfully close LIHTC, acquisition, refinance, and other strategic real estate transactions while achieving annual production goalsPrepare financial models, project budgets, pro formas, and investment analyses to support executive and board-level decision-makingManage project execution by coordinating consultants, overseeing entitlement and municipal approval processes, and tracking key milestonesBuild and maintain strategic relationships with developers, public agencies, lenders, investors, brokers, and community stakeholders to identify new opportunities and expand market presence.Develop relationships with affordable housing owners, government agencies, and brokersCoordinate tax credit and bond application submittals, additional subsidy requests, and lender applicationsReview construction plans with Construction ManagementVisit financing agencies to maintain relationshipsParticipate in strategic planning efforts for Development DepartmentProvides guidance and review work of Project Leaders and AnalystsOur FirmKM Partners' national Executive Search and Professional Recruitment practice areas focus on high-growth, impact-investment-oriented businesses across relevant industries, including Investment Management, Real Estate, Clean Energy, Sustainable Infrastructure, and related Business and Professional Services.
